E-Center for E-Business


 

 

ECEB Interdisciplinary Faculty

The E-Center for E-Business has faculty from various units of George Mason University, including the School of Information and Engineering (IT&E), the School of Management, and the Institute for Public Policy.  The goal is to bring together top GMU researchers and educators to focus on E-business research and education.

This group of faculty has extensive expertise in the area of agent-based systems, e-business performance evaluation and capacity planning, information security and e-business, software architectures for e-business, software maturity and process maturity, supply chain management, and business intelligence and data mining.

Visiting Scholars

  • Dr. Emiliano Casalicchio, Universita di Roma, Italy during April and November, 2004. He worked with Dr. Menascé on Grid Computing.

  • Dr. Wooju Kim from Chunbuk National University in Korea, visited ECEB during the 2000-2001 academic year. He worked with Dr. Kerschberg on the WebSifter project. Dr. Kim is now at Yonsei University.

  • Dr. Julia Couto, formerly with the Universidad Complutense in Madrid visited ECEB and worked with Dr. Barbará in data mining.
