E-Center for E-Business

ECEB Organization and Management

The center is directed by Professor Larry Kerschberg. The activities of the Center will be guided, in part, by inputs from three major bodies: member organizations, technology partners, and the advisory council.

Member organizations will contribute problems, data, project needs, and resources. The Center will engage in cooperative work with member organizations through joint projects and workshops.

Technology partners include companies that produce technologies that support e-business.These companies will cooperate with the Center by making available demo hardware and/or software they produce. The Center will use these technologies in projects developed for member organizations and will share the results with the technology partners.

The Advisory Council will be formed by representatives of member organizations, technology partners, and Center faculty associates. The council will provide guidance to the Center co-Directors. Research projects carried out by the Center will be developed by technical staff, which includes faculty associates, graduate and undergraduate students, as well as programmers that may be hired by the Center. The Center will have a small cadre of administrative and support staff composed of a system administrator and Web master and a part-time administrative assistant and budget specialist.
